Modernized Production Base
Modern Facility 
Sekisui Medical (CHINA)'s production base and R&D headquarter are both located in Beijing Tianzhu Airport Industrial Development Zone, a place swarming with world famous enterprises, which is about 10 minutes drive to Beijing International Airport. The production base occupies 21,000 square meters, it¡¯s completely designed and constructed by famous Japanese companies. The workshops in the production base are designed and constructed in line with the 100,000 grade clean-room standard, where manufacturing processes are strictly controlled in accord with the requirements of ISO9000:2001 system and the CPU is running for 24 hours to monitor the manufacturing environment on the whole, which guarantees the production environment complies with 100,000 grade clean-room standard at all times. In addition, the specially designed visiting passage ensures that visitors from outside will have no influence on the manufacturing environment inside. All workshop¡¯s in-and-out articles are strictly sterilized and are required to be transferred along a specially designed logistic channel.
In August 2004, the first phase of the production base was completed and launched, and it becomes the most modernized production base of vacuum blood collection tube in China today. With designed annual production capability of more than 200 million vacuum blood collection tubes when all phases finished, it will become the largest and most modernized production base in China©~.
 Advanced Equipments
Sekisui Medical (CHINA) has introduced full sets of advanced Japanese automatic production and assembly lines, especially the core production units, including PET raw material processing equipments, PET primary tube production lines, serum separating gel refilling equipments and chemical additive injection equipments, all of which are highly specialized sophisticated equipments used, fine-tuned and developed by Sekisui Chemical over the past 20 years. The automatic production line has utilized with so many high-tech elements such as real-time monitoring and quality checking units, for example, when unqualified product appears or production environment parameter changes, the alarm light will flash to prompt the operator to check and adjust the production program.
